Located in peaceful countryside just over a mile from Keswick at the foot of Skiddaw, Ormathwaite Hall and the adjacent Coach House are both stunning properties of a very high standard, and are available for both Self Catering and Bed & Breakfast.
The main house is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion which boasts many original features including fireplaces, art deco bathrooms and oak beams. The house which is stylishly decorated and beautifully furnished sleeps 11+2 guests.
The Coach House was sympathetically renovated in 2006 and like the main house oozes character and original features like vaulted timber ceilings. We have blended the 'old and the new' to create a period property with the benefits of such luxuries as underfloor heating and ensuite bathrooms. The Coach House sleeps 6+2 guests.
There are approximately 3 acres of garden to enjoy incorporating lawned terraces, a cascading stream, paved walkways, a walled kitchen garden, a small mature woodland and a wealth of interesting plants and animals.
