It has been sympathetically renovated to high standards, whilst still retaining its original character. With 3 double bedrooms the house sleeps 6, although there is a sofa bed in the lounge for 2 additional guests.
The vaulted kitchen has a 2 oven electric Aga, Oak table with 8 chairs, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stone flagged floor and Double patio doors leading to pleasant sunny outside seating area - lovely on a summers day.
Again vaulted, the stunning large Oak floored Lounge / Dining Room has panoramic views of Keswick and the fells. With a Log burner for chilly nights, leather sofas, Dining table with 8 chairs, television, recordable DVD, Digital radio and cd player plus a selection of books you'll not be short of things to do.
The 3 large double bedrooms all have king size beds, excellent en-suite facilities and plenty of storage space. In addition the Master bedroom benefits from a restored period fireplace and bathroom with traditional roll top bath.
For practical guests who feel the need to do laundry (you'd be surprised how many do!) there is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and sink leading through to a shower room with sink and WC.
Outside, in addition to the paved area leading from the kitchen, guests have full access to 3 acres of shared gardens with paved walkways and a wealth of interesting shrubs trees and herbaceous plants. There is also parking for 3 cars.
