The early Georgian property has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features including Art Deco bathrooms, fireplaces and oak beams. With its large bedrooms, spacious yet cosy reception rooms and views from every window, Ormathwaite Hall is a wonderful place to stay in at any time of year. In winter the frost on the ground and the snow on the hills is magical, Spring sees the gardens awash with daffodils, whilst in the Summer the gardens are alive with colour and scent.

Sleeping 11 + 2 there is plenty of room for even the largest family!

The spacious kitchen boasts a 4 oven cream Aga plus electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and extensive range of kitchen utensils and crockery. It's the kind of kitchen you see in Country home magazines!



The main lounge although large, still has a cosy feel, especially when the fire is lit on a crisp winters day. There is plenty of seating plus TV and DVD player.



The dining room with its art deco fireplace seats 12 and is a great room for entertaining. It is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses for all as well as fabulous views.



The hallway with traditional stone fireplace sofa, chairs and cd player leads to the lounge, dining room, a spacious Study with TV and sofa bed and an original Art Deco Cloakroom and WC.



Head up the stunning oak staircase and you will find -
